Goals - NLP Life Coaching

From a young age we have been told to 'set' goals. At work, we are told the same thing. In fact we are continusly told that goal setting is important, however, they rarely tell you why.

Many people describe goals as their own 'powerful process for personal planning'. High achievers are continuosly goal setting. What they forget to us is that it is not important whether you achieve them, but rather that you are constantly striving for them.

A goal is defined by each individual. No goal is greater or lesser than any other as they achieve the same behavioural responses in each individual. Setting goals is not only about the representation of 'dreams', it is about the behavioural attitudes they conciously and unconciously create.

By setting a goal to achieve lets say a ten minute walk every morning, we are setting up behaviours via our thought process which set up muscle memory.
